The short answer: three layers, not three interchangeable apps
Apple Health, OMRON connect, and the Withings app do different jobs. Apple Health is primarily a health-data repository on your iPhone and iPad. It can accept blood-pressure data entered manually or written by a permitted third-party app, but it is not the cuff taking the measurement. OMRON and Withings begin with compatible physical monitors. Their apps receive readings, maintain brand-specific histories, show trends, and provide sharing tools. What Apple Health contributes
