The cited policies illustrate four different exit structures. Hims says its Weight Loss Membership and Medication Plan can be managed separately. Cancellation generally must occur at least two days before renewal; canceling only the medication leaves the membership active, while canceling the membership also cancels the active medication plan. Its terms exclude partial-period refunds and refunds after medication ships, with limited medication-plan refund conditions. Medication handled directly by Gifthealth has separate billing and cancellation rules. Ro permits Body membership cancellation through the secure account or email and requires at least 48 hours’ notice before renewal. A paid Body membership fee is described as nonrefundable, and access continues through the paid cycle. Product disputes involving certain partner pharmacies can follow the dispensing pharmacy’s rules. Noom allows cancellation through its app or Subscription Portal. Its published refund policy says medication-included Noom Med refunds become unavailable after a prescription is written; its branded-medication telehealth program uses a clinical-visit cutoff, and renewal charges are nonrefundable. WeightWatchers Clinic accepts cancellation through its site, app, email, Care Team, or Customer Service. Cancellation takes effect after the paid period or commitment term, and it says requests may take up to 72 hours to process. Its initial consultation and most started subscription periods are nonrefundable, subject to limited exceptions.

There is no universal free tier or device cost for these clinical programs. As checked July 13, 2026, Hims publicly listed a $39 first-month membership followed by $149 per month, with prescribed medication charged separately. Ro listed $39 for the first month and $149 for an ongoing monthly plan, or a lower monthly equivalent for eligible annual prepayment; medication is separate. Noom’s pricing page displayed multiple pathways: some included medication and used introductory pricing followed by quarterly billing, while its branded-medication path charged for ongoing care separately from the medication. Eligibility, state, insurance, product, and checkout selections can change the final quote. Before canceling, locate the next renewal and determine whether a refill is only scheduled, under clinical review, prescribed, submitted to a pharmacy, processed, or shipped. Those stages can produce different refund outcomes. Ask the program and any separately billing pharmacy which pending actions remain stoppable. Submit the request earlier than the published minimum, use an authorized cancellation channel, and save the timestamp, transcript, confirmation number, and final effective date. Download receipts, visit notes, lab results, prescription history, and prior-authorization records before access ends. Deleting an account or uninstalling an app is not a substitute for canceling a recurring subscription.

These programs can collect substantially more than contact and payment information. Hims’ policy describes health data, medical records held for affiliated providers, communications, identity information, device identifiers, location, browsing, and purchasing activity. It also explains that not every health-related data point is legally protected health information and that some non-protected information may be used or disclosed for advertising under applicable choices and state law. Noom lists weight, mental state, sleep, exercise, food intake, payment data, communications, device and location data, app activity, and optional connected-sensor information; it shares information with service, payment, analytics, and advertising providers, with some disclosures potentially treated as a sale or sharing under state law. Ro similarly lists symptoms, medical history, prescriptions, height, weight, photos, lab results, and insurance information. WeightWatchers provides a separate Notice of Privacy Practices for Clinic patient information. Canceling billing does not automatically delete an account or medical record. Review the general privacy policy, state consumer-health notice, and HIPAA or clinical privacy notice, then make a separate access, export, correction, or deletion request if appropriate. Preserve care records first. A telehealth membership is not an FDA-cleared diagnostic device. FDA status applies to the exact medication. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. This comparison method fits you if you want to understand the full financial commitment before enrolling, are deciding between a monthly and prepaid offer, or need to leave a program without overlooking a pharmacy order or second subscription. The best-supported choice is usually the program whose written terms clearly identify each recurring charge, renewal date, refill cutoff, refund exclusion, cancellation channel, and post-cancellation record process—not necessarily the program with the lowest introductory price. Look elsewhere or pause enrollment if the provider will not identify the dispensing pharmacy, explain whether medication is FDA-approved or compounded, provide the normal renewal price, or put cancellation and refund answers in writing. A low first-month price is also a poor fit if you cannot comfortably cover the regular price or the amount charged upfront for a longer commitment.
